Grand Prairie Center


 
The Grand Prairie Center, a state-of-the-art convention center and auditorium, opened in Stuttgart in 2011.
The multi-purpose facility was built to meet the ever-expanding needs of the community. 
    Business: The Grand Prairie Center provides the business community with a top-notch facility for hosting conferences, conventions, shareholder meetings, and seminars on a city, state and regional level. 
    Civic/Social: The GPC serves as the central gather location for all people of the community, Fund raisers, club meetings, seminars, class reunions, festivals and wedding receptions are just a few of the events that can be held. 
    Cultural: The GPC is the cultural epicenter for the Grand Prairie area. Art festivals, dance and piano recitals, theatrical productions and symphonic performances are an integral part of the community. 
    Educational: The GPC ensures that education never needs. Training seminars, career and employment fairs, continuing education courses, health and nutrition programs and literacy education bolster the well-being of the community.
    Entertainment: The GPC provides the perfect venue for concerts, plays, parties, dinners and dances. The opening of the Grand Prairie Center featured a concert by country music star John Michael Montgomery.
 
The Grand Prairie Center 
    • 63,000 sq. ft. multi-use facility 
    • Auditorium will seat 750, with expandable seating for 1,275 people 
    • Performance (Proscenium) stage equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems 
    • Two adjacent multi-purpose salons, one seating 420 and the other seating 210 people banquet-style; the two salons combined, can seat up to 630 for dinner. Each salon is equipped with a projector, jumbo screen and complete sound system 
    • The Grand Hall can be utilized for receptions, parties, art displays, etc. 
    • Four classrooms and two meeting rooms can be utilized for events requiring 30 people or less. Each meeting area is equipped with wifi and an interactive white board 
    • A catering kitchen and outdoor cooking pavilion will accommodate meal events and fund raisers

The Grand Prairie Center is located on the campus of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas and easy access to the building is available off U.S. Highway 165.
An on-site director is responsible for management of the facility, including program recruitment, scheduling arrangements, maintenance and all other aspects of the Grand Prairie Center.
