Stuttgart Unlimited

Stuttgart Unlimited sees a future that is unlimited

Stuttgart Unlimited is an organization of business and professional people who are concerned with the economic and industrial growth of our area.
Bound by a common belief that Stuttgart’s future is unlimited, a group of leaders began Stuttgart Unlimited in 2001 as a means to ensure the area’s economic growth.
Today, that effort continues with its members, each of whom contributes a range of $1,000 - $5,000 annually.
SU works closely with the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce and the Stuttgart Industrial Development Corp.
The organization hired a Little Rock advertising agency to develop a new slogan for Stuttgart. The slogan “Stuttgart: A Natural Place to Call Home” was used to promote Stuttgart as a family-friendly community with an abundance of natural beauty.
Downtown Stuttgart has been one of the areas of focus for SU. One of its very first projects was to purchase new banners to decorate and enhance the downtown lampposts. The banners feature the “Stuttgart: A Natural Place to Call Home” logo and slogan.
SU also gave funds to a new group called “Let’s Paint Stuttgart,” which worked to paint more than 20 buildings downtown. The effort gave downtown a fresh new and vibrant appearance.
Another downtown project was the old Riceland Hotel, a historical landmark that dates back to 1923. SU provide funds and volunteer hours to give the building a facelift. The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce helped to relight the old Hotel Riceland neon sign that still hangs outside the hotel.
SU has also been active in ongoing efforts to market Stuttgart. Print ads were purchased in Greenhead magazine, as well as a new magazine produced by the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce.
SU also produced and aired a television commercial that appeared on KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock, promoting Stuttgart as a natural place to call home. Radio advertising was also purchased on the East Arkansas Broadcasters Radio Network.
SU also helped fund a new website for the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce. The websites and have played an important role in promoting Stuttgart to out of town visitors, as well as informing local residents of upcoming community events and activities.
The Adopt-A-Block Committee of SU participated in Rid Litter Day, an annual anti-litter campaign of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce.
The Bridge the Gap Committee of SU works to bring all the citizens of Stuttgart together and encourages participation from all segments of the community.
